Biography

Dr Enang has been named Top 100 Risk Management Influencer in the category of Researchers and Contributors by Onalytica. Her research interest includes but is not limited to decision making and risk governance issues in the private and public sector. She is currently promoting understanding about social risks, including potential impacts on micro, meso and macro environments via public speaking engagement, and her scholarly articles. Her co-authored book titled: "Conceptualising Risk Assessment and Management across the Public Sector: From Theory to Practice” was available to the public from January 2022. Dr Enang has an MSc in Risk Management (with distinction) from Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) in Scotland. Her PhD which was funded by GCU focused on Social Risk Management. She is a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Risk Management at Coventry University. Prior to this time, she lectured and taught at GCU, and at the University of Edinburgh. She also worked as a Research Fellow at Edinburgh Napier University. Dr Enang has relevant industry experience in the Information Technology sector (minimum of 10 years) where she worked as Project Manager and Coordinator, and in the investment Banking sector where she worked as a Relationship Management Executive. She has also set up and successfully ran her own business. She is passionate about teaching and research and believes that teaching and learning should be underpinned by evidence-based research. Dr Enang was Course Director for MSc Risk Management and is the current Course Director for the Bachelor in Business Administration Course at Coventry University. She is module leader on both postgraduate and undergraduate modules including Project Management, Risk Management, and Decision-making for International Business. Dr Enang is also an Undergraduate Recruitment Lead for the School of Strategy and Leadership, within Coventry University.
