Fadi Rashad Arafat is a PhD researcher at Bangor University, UK, with over 14 years of professional experience across the United Kingdom, Qatar, Jordan, and Dubai. His career combines academic scholarship with extensive practical expertise in Human Resource Management. He is a professional HR specialist with substantial experience in organizational development, performance management, employee engagement, and strategic HR systems across diverse international contexts. This cross-cultural exposure has significantly shaped his research perspective and deepened his understanding of how HR systems operate under different institutional and technological environments. Prior to commencing his PhD, Fadi served as a lecturer at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in Jordan, where he taught courses in Human Resource Management, Ethics, and Organizational Behaviour. His teaching experience complements his research by grounding theoretical models in real organizational practice. His doctoral research focuses on High-Performance Work Systems (HPWS) and the microfoundational mechanisms through which HR practices influence knowledge behaviors and innovation outcomes. Adopting a macro–micro–macro framework, he examines how AMO-based HR systems shape psychological conditions such as self-efficacy and self-determination, which in turn affect knowledge sharing and knowledge hiding behaviors. His work further explores the role of digital capability and knowledge mobilization in enabling incremental and radical innovation, particularly within the context of digital transformation in private universities in Jordan.
