Biography

Vincent Dutot is a full professor of MIS and member of Métis Lab at EM Normandie, France. He holds an MBA and a PhD from Laval University (Canada) and a HDR from IAE Poitiers (France). He is the founder of www.cercap.fr and serves as associate editor for Cogent Business & Management (CABS 1*), Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development (CABS 2*) and SIM (FNEGE 2). He specializes in the strategic, organizational and societal implications of digital technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, digital transformation and emerging digital ecosystems. In addition to the five books on digital, he has published more than 60 articles in ranked journals including Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Systèmes d'Information et Management (French Journal of Management Information Systems) or International Journal of Information Management. Finally, he was named in the top 2% most cited researchers by Stanford (2023, 2024, 2025) and Top 5% Scopus (2025).
