Biography

Jyoti Kishnani is a doctoral researcher in Business and Law at Northumbria University, Newcastle. Her doctoral research explores the challenges and opportunities experienced by startup managers in managing Generation Z employees within UK startup organisations. Her study is informed by Psychological Contract Theory and Generational Theory, and examines how workplace expectations are understood within early-stage organisations. Jyoti has over eighteen years of professional experience across software quality, project management, learning and development, organisational effectiveness, and AI-supported workplace practices. She is currently working in an organisational effectiveness advisory role with a UK-based technology organisation. Her wider interests include human-centred management, workplace learning, generational change, and the responsible use of AI in organisational practice.
