'An exploration into the Functioning of Ecosystems Combating Antimicrobial Resistance' I am nearing the completion of my PhD, during which I have investigated the innovation and control ecosystems addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR). I undertook an exploratory approach to understand how these ecosystems exist, placing particular focuses on the cross-sectional inter-organizational relationships, as well as the voice and perspectives from stakeholders in LMICs. This work aims to fill critical gaps in innovation literature while offering practical insights to improve organizational strategies within the AMR drug discovery ecosystem. Key highlights of my PhD journey include: -Conducting semi-structured interviews with AMR experts across multiple sectors worldwide, from governmental ministers to senior executives in pharmaceutical companies. -Presenting at a diverse range of science and management conferences, effectively communicating complex concepts to varied audiences, and receiving an award for Best Poster at an internal conference. -Performing thematic analysis of qualitative interview data, integrating insights with immersive experience within the AMR ecosystem.
