I am currently a first-year Ph.D. student at KEDGE Business School Bordeaux and Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA). My research passion is workplace mindfulness and with my supervisor Professor Marc Ohana, we are examining its effects on organizational justice. I am holding a master of science (MSc) degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior (HRM&OB) from the Toulouse School of Management where I was also a student delegate. My MSc thesis topic is "The Effects of Mindfulness Practices on Change Recipients During Organizational Change". I presented my MSc research at the 36th Conference of the British Academy of Management in Manchester. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Galatasaray University, Istanbul. I also took bachelor's and master's degree courses at Toulouse 1 University Capitole as an Erasmus+ exchange student. I wrote my bachelor’s thesis on "Mindfulness in Professional Life: Employee Satisfaction, Performance, and Happiness" in French which I had the highest degree. I describe myself as a person with high communication skills who is capable of adapting rapidly and creating strong bonds with people. I worked as a sourcing analyst at WNS Denali, cooperating with the procurement teams of Airbus France and England. Besides, I worked in Novartis Turkey as a management trainee where I was the direct report of the country comms head. I also participated in several international volunteering projects in Nepal, Morocco, and Italy; directed two student associations at Galatasaray University.
