Biography

Joyce Shardey is an administrative and pension management professional with experience in governance, operations, and pension scheme administration. She currently serves as the Office Manager at the Universities Staff Occupational Pension Scheme (USOPS), where she plays a key role in supporting the effective management of the Scheme’s administrative operations and governance processes. In her role at USOPS, Joyce coordinates board activities, facilitates communication among stakeholders, and supports the implementation of policies and decisions that contribute to the smooth running of the Scheme. Her work places her at the center of institutional administration, ensuring that operational and governance structures function efficiently. Joyce holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Education and a Master of Science (MSc) in Pension Management, reflecting her strong academic background and commitment to professional development within the pension and administrative sectors. She is also currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at the University of Ghana Business School, further strengthening her capacity to apply data-driven insights to organizational decision-making. With a growing expertise in pension administration, governance support, and data analytics, Joyce is passionate about contributing to institutional excellence and strengthening retirement systems through effective management and strategic thinking.
