Dr. Sajeda Pervin is an Assistant Professor of Business Management at the University of Southampton Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Microfinance and Women’s Empowerment, with research expertise spanning women’s entrepreneurship, social impact, and sustainable development. Her work particularly focuses on how microfinance and entrepreneurial initiatives contribute to empowerment and socio-economic progress in South Asia and emerging economies. Dr. Pervin is co-leading a British Academy-funded project on women entrepreneurs in South Asia and has published and presented widely in her field. Alongside her research, she is actively engaged in teaching, curriculum development, and quality assurance, holding Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her academic contributions are complemented by involvement in international collaborations, book chapters, and projects addressing gender, entrepreneurship, and social governance.
