Biography

I currently serve as Professor at BRAC Business School, BRAC University, and Professor (Grade-1) in the Department of Management at the University of Chittagong, the second largest public university of Bangladesh [On leave]. Over the past 39 years, I have been engaged in teaching, research, academic leadership, and higher education governance. My previous roles include Member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chittagong, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Southeast University, Treasurer of Bangladesh Open University, Dhaka and Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Chittagong. I have published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, authored 18 books, supervised 20 M.Phil./Ph.D. researchers, and have extensive experience presenting at international conferences. As a fulbright scholar, I have worked as visiting professor at Inha University, South Korea; Korean Academy of Business Ethics, Seoul; Centre for Change & Conflict Resolution, Texas & also educational administrations & HR department of Texas A&M University, USA.
