Biography

Lara Carminati is an Assistant Professor at the Organisational Behaviour, Change Management & Consultancy (OBCC) research group. Lara joined the University of Twente (NL) in 2019, after completing her PhD in Management, Organisational Behaviour, at the University of Surrey (UK). Lara's research interest lies in the field of identity and includes the relationships with disruptive technologies such as AI, the values and emotions underpinning professionals' identities, the antecedents and consequences of identity work, as well as the micro and macro processes surrounding identity dynamics. For future works, she is interested in exploring phenomena related to human-AI interaction, emotional intelligence, psychological safety, ethical decision-making processes, and intercultural differences. Her work has been published in different journals, among which are Applied Psychology: An International Review, Frontiers of Psychology, Current Psychology, Ethics & Behaviour, Production Planning & Control, and Healthcare Management Review.
