Tolulope is currently a lecturer and course leader at Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Leeds, having produced a body of work on employee engagement practices in British workplaces. She also researches in the areas of women and artisan entrepreneurship, borne out of her involvement and advisory capacity in businesses. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences and published in business and management journals. In Nov 2024, one of the papers she co-authored won the best paper in International Entrepreneurship at the 46th Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE conference) in Sheffield. Apart from authoring papers, she also reviews for International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship, Cogent Business & Management Journal, Gender, Work and Organisation Journal and Journal of the International Council of Small Business. She supervises postgraduate-taught and doctoral students. She supports other universities and colleges in curriculum development and program delivery in her capacity as validation panel member and external examiner. She is currently a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) in recognition of her sustained record of effective teaching and learning in higher education.
