Biography

Roopa is a chartered member of the CIPD with more than 15 years of experience in the education, training, and consultancy industries across India, Singapore, and the UK. She worked as an HR consultant at the Management Development Institute of Singapore, where she designed and delivered training programs to managers in various sectors, including healthcare, hospitality, retail, education, and finance. She graduated with a first class MBA in Human Resource Management from Mumbai University in 1997, and her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Westminster in 2008. Currently, she is the course director of the MBA International HRM course and module leader for Human Resource Management modules for postgraduate students. She supervises undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation projects. Roopa regularly participates in HR seminars and networking events and presents papers at international education conferences. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Coventry University, and her PhD topic is 'Employee Engagement and Well-being of the Remote Worker'.
