Abstract:

The growing obligation for knowledge, innovation, and information has had far reaching effects in the fields of psychology, technology, economics, and society. Significant challenges, such as globalisation, the rise of knowledge-based economies, fierce rivalry, and rapid technology advancements, threaten the survival of many businesses today. The goal of this research is to learn how frequent information exchange among employees drives innovation. Furthermore, the role of transformational leadership as a mediator between these two variables will be evaluated.

Three hundred employees from all types of businesses participated in the survey. This research which used SPSS Version 28 to analyse the collected data, verifies the two-way connection between knowledge sharing and innovation in the form of a recurring cause-and-effect relationship and investigates the mediating role of transformational leadership. In order to promote knowledge sharing practises and, ultimately, increase innovation levels within their establishment, this study encourages managers to reflect on their tacit method of managing employees by employing leadership characteristics such as idealised influence, intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation, and individualised consideration.
