Biography

**Dr Arshia Hashmi** Dr Arshia Hashmi is an Associate Professor and Head of the Community Engagement Pillar in the Faculty of Management Sciences at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore. She has previously served as Head of Department and Associate Professor at the University of Faisalabad and as Head of Department at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Sahiwal. She holds a Doctorate in Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia and has extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, research supervision, quality assurance, and international academic collaboration. Her research interests primarily focus on **innovation, leadership, thinking styles, and team-based mechanisms**. She has published in international journals and has expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research approaches. Her methodological expertise includes NVivo, SPSS, STATA, AMOS, SmartPLS, EViews, EndNote, and Mendeley. She has also completed an internationally sponsored research project on *Labor Market Policies for Changing Market Demands* under the Asian Productivity Organization. She has received the **Research Productivity Award** from COMSATS University and has contributed to research committees and academic initiatives at several universities. Dr Hashmi has extensive experience in academic administration, curriculum development, and stakeholder engagement. She has contributed to the development and alignment of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes and has worked on curriculum alignment with AACSB standards. Her community engagement activities include initiatives focused on women's entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and social empowerment, including collaborations with the State Bank of Pakistan, the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), the Asian Development Bank, and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA), Pakistan. Through these initiatives, she has contributed to the training and development of approximately 3,000 students and faculty members. She is also actively engaged in women's leadership and empowerment initiatives and has completed an international leadership fellowship with Michigan State University, USA. In recognition of her contributions to women empowerment, social cohesion, and a prosperous Pakistan, she received the **Dukhtran-e-Pakistan Award 2022**. Her academic work combines research, teaching, leadership, and community engagement, with a particular interest in understanding how thinking and team-based mechanisms can contribute to innovation in organizations.
