I am a Senior Lecturer in Management specialising in developing theoretical and practical approaches to improving working relationships (managerial roles, employee voice, uncertainty, gender inequality) for managers by examining the impacts of macro (socio-cultural, institutional and political changes), meso (organisational culture, uncertainty and networking) and micro (generational differences, gender and lived experiences). Empirically, I study these topics in Mongolia, an emerging transition economy with nomadic culture in a variety of organisational settings (e.g., public, SMEs and MNEs) and across different types of workers (traditional, temporary, and expatriates). I have published my work in peer-reviewed journals in the HRM field and produced book chapters in the books examining management practices in transitional peripheries. My research has been presented at international conferences in my field, including the British Academy of Management (BAM) and the Work Employment and Society (WES). I have extensive experience designing and delivering academic and professional programmes for undergraduate students to the executive level in HRM, leadership, organisational culture, cross-cultural management, and qualitative research methods. I am a Fellow of the Advance HE, formerly known as the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), an Academic Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and an academic Member of Society into Higher Education Research (SRHE). I am also a member of the Voice Research Group (a group of academic researchers with a common interest in all issues surrounding voice in the workplace) and the CYGNA (supporting women in academia network).
