Dr Isaac O. Amoako is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Co-Head of Education Programmes, and Project Director of International Academy for Transformational Entrepreneurship, at the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE) at Coventry University. He is also an Associate Editor of Humanities and Social Sciences Communications Journal and a member of the British Academy of Management Special Interest Group (SIG) on Entrepreneurship. Isaac’s research interests are in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, African Business and Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Education, Diaspora Entrepreneurship, Interorganisational Trust and Social Enterprise. Isaac has researched and published high impact outputs including journal articles and a book with a particular focus on Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management in Africa. He was the Founder and Leader of the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Research Group (SBERG) and the Programme Leader of MSc Entrepreneurship all at Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University. Isaac has supervised and examined doctoral students in Entrepreneurship. He has served as a keynote speaker at a conference, presented at prestigious national and international conferences and forums including the House of Commons in London and published many conference papers. He is a member of four professional and academic bodies and has developed important networks with academic institutions, businesses and business leaders in UK and abroad. Prior to his academic career Isaac was an entrepreneur who started and managed his own businesses for 25 years.
