Soumyadeb Chowdhury is an Associate Professor at Toulouse Business School (TBS Education), France, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Sustainability, Psychometric scale development and interdisciplinary research in varying contexts. Soum is the co-editor-in-chief of British Journal of Management. Soum earned his PhD in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow and has since held faculty positions in Singapore and at Aston Business School in the UK. He was the founding director of TBS Education's Research Center for Sustainable Development and CSR from 2021-2024. Soum’s research has been supported by leading research funding bodies, including UK Research and Innovation, the British Council, the Royal Academy of Engineering, and the French National Research Agency. He has also collaborated with the World Economic Forum, co-authoring research on sustainability and data-driven SMEs. Beyond research, Soumyadeb is recognized for his innovative approach to teaching. Drawing inspiration from platforms like Netflix and diverse real-world contexts, he has designed award-winning pedagogical strategies, most notably receiving the AMBA BCG Best Teaching Innovation Strategy award.
