Biography

Sabarinath holds a PhD in Public–Private Partnership governance from the School of Government at the University of Birmingham and has an established career in British higher education spanning Project Management, Organisational Behaviour, Business Management, Marketing, and Economics. At Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), he works in programme leadership and Advanced Professional Education, designing and delivering practice-led learning for experienced engineers and managers. He has extensive experience in international delivery and is actively engaged with SAFe and agile-at-scale programme delivery, integrating contemporary approaches to value flow, governance, and benefits realisation into executive and professional development. Alongside academia, Sabarinath brings commercial consultancy experience with the British Government, nonprofit organisations, and policy think tanks in the Netherlands, connecting research insight with real organisational challenges. He also leads industry engagement and outreach initiatives as the Outreach Convenor for the Industrial Management Education Group, working with schools, employers, and professional bodies to widen participation and strengthen links between engineering practice and higher education. His research focuses on programme governance, executive sponsorship, benefits realisation, and leadership in complex transformations, very much aligned to the Association for Project Management (APM) Body of Knowledge. He welcomes collaboration and postgraduate dissertation supervision in programme leadership, strategic transformation, agile-at-scale delivery, and executive decision-making.
