Biography

Juanita Illingworth - ORCID 0000-0003-2001-9975 With three nationalities, Juanita has the blend of international experience that entwines business with academia. Having had two successful careers before joining academia, Juanita attained Senior Professor status. The passion Juanita brings is in the scope of management communication, psychological contract in engaging team members to achieve organisational results from a pragmatic perspective. This field of interest was demonstrated whilst still at high school, where Juanita attended an academic conference representing country students at ‘Skilling the Australian Community’ in 1987. This was the beginning of Juanita formalising her passion and interest in employee engagement and building the work force strength. Highly experienced in leading a wide range of organisational change projects, including HR transformation, implementation of the HR business partner model, and organisational culture change to name a few. As an executive coach, Juanita enables leaders to adapt their communication style in order to achieve performance and engagement of their teams.
