Biography

Dr. Santoshi Sengupta, is a passionate researcher and a devoted academician. She received the prestigious Allianza4U Fellowship from Spain and did her post-doctoral research from Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Spain. Her current research interests include investigating organizational success factors at a micro-level by exploring individuals, their motivation factors, their engagement levels, and their well-being. She prefers making qualitative research inquiry by interviewing her participants, and delving deep into their emotions and words. Over a span of seventeen years, she has to her credit several research publications in international journals of repute; as chapters in books and has also published a book on her research on employee attrition and retention in the BPO industry of India. She is Associate Editor of Frontiers, an international journal of Psychology and is the reviewer of many other high-quality journals. She has presented a number of papers in international conferences both in India and abroad and has been invited to deliver talks on international forum. Santoshi is currently serving as Professor and head of School of Management, Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal Campus, Uttarakhand, India. Besides being a researcher and professor, she is also a passionate traveler. She has travelled across the globe both extensively and intensively for cultural diaspora, adventurous treks, and exchange of language and ethnicity and cuisine. For her, her travel sagas enrich her classes, lectures and interactions with people. Santoshi is a motivated and exuberant individual, who believes in life-long learning, and who seeks to unite her expeditions, experiences and education in a learning centric approach.
