Abstract
This comprehensive research examines the multifaceted experiences of women entrepreneurs in South Asian countries. It explores the challenges they face, including limited resource access, gender-based discrimination, cultural constraints, and work-life balance management. Additionally, the study highlights the opportunities available through digitalisation, global economic participation, and the importance of mentorship. The pivotal role of entrepreneurial ecosystems in fostering female entrepreneurial success is scrutinised, particularly in the context of South Asian nations where socio-cultural factors play a significant role. The research also delves into the impact of maternal empowerment, self-autonomy, and the influence of socio-cultural environments on entrepreneurial pursuits. By analysing the entrepreneurial journeys of women in South Asian region, the study aims to provide insights for policymakers and stakeholders to develop supportive frameworks that empower women entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to economic and social development.
