Abstract
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) evolves gradually with development in practice. As Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies emerge, they help enhance the efficiency of managerial tools. In this study, we systematically review the literature on ERM and AI using Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework and a hybrid computational method. We performed a computational bibliometric analysis on the full dataset to map the field, followed by an in-depth qualitative synthesis of a focused sample of 23 high-impact articles. Although AI tools create more opportunities for ERM, they also bring new challenges to address. Based on these new challenges and previous literature, we reveal the research agenda for future research. Our research extends the research direction on ERM using AI, and encourage ERM application in practice.
