Abstract
Abstract:
This study examines the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and unethical pro-organizational behavior (UPB), focusing on the mediating role of organizational identification (OI) and the moderating role of psychological entitlement (PE). Drawing on social identity theory, three-phase time-lagged data were collected. The results show that OI partially mediated the CSR-UPB relationship. Psychological entitlement strongly moderates the relationship between CSR and, indirectly, through OI to UPB. The findings shed light on important theoretical and practical implications, offering suggestions for implementing CSR initiatives without experiencing UPB.
