Abstract
Organization and management studies increasingly address environmental issues, yet
ecological systems are rarely integrated into organizational analysis. This study examines
regenerative organizing, which emphasizes long-term ecological renewal, through a
stakeholder-network lens. Using a case from a local community in northern Norway, which
received UNESCO’s World Heritage status, we analyze activities designed to protect the local
natural environment amid tourism, economy, and climate pressures. Findings highlight how
multi-stakeholder relationships are shaped when nature is considered a central part of
organizational practices, offering insights for developing more ecologically integrated
approaches to organizing.
