Abstract
This paper explores the impact of Agentic AI on employees' affective well-being by focusing on its influence on job satisfaction, stress, and boredom. Drawing from Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Theory, the study posits that while Agentic AI offers significant productivity gains by automating routine tasks and acting as a force multiplier, its implementation presents a double-edged sword effect. The methodology employs a qualitative, exploratory approach utilizing purposive sampling to conduct interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), alongside thematic analysis and a rigorous document analysis of emerging technological frameworks and industry reports. This study provides a framework for understanding how organizations can design workforce transformation programs, policies, and practices that strengthen the well-being benefits of Agentic AI while mitigating its risks.
