Abstract
The survival and growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are important to the South African economy. The study objective is to investigate whether talent management predicts meaningful work and service performance in South African SMEs. Following a quantitative research design, data has been collected from employees at South African SMEs (N = 374), using the Talent Management Measure, the Work as Meaning Inventory and SERVQUAL. This submission is being made to receive feedback on the problem statement, the limited literature review and the hypotheses developed.
