Abstract
Resent research on marketing strategy has pointed towards the role of timing as a crucial aspect of its implementation. Αt the same time, an increasing amount of academic research focuses on the study of actual business strategies which successfully attain marketing goals and serve target-markets. In that respect, the current study aims to investigate marketing strategies implemented by companies and to highlight the role of entry timing into target markets as an element of the company's overall marketing strategy. The results confirm the importance of targeting decisions as an integral part of the company's overall marketing strategy and underscore the role of timing for its successful implementation.
