Abstract
In the realm of business economics, stakeholder capitalism gained prominence in the scholarly discourse during the 1980s and 1990s. However, holistic ideologies, encompassing the individual, family, society, and the environment, have only recently become the focus of scholarly investigation. Technological advancements and shifting consumer preferences are rapidly transforming the corporate environment, prompting a re-evaluation of conventional business models that neglect environmental and societal concerns and shifting towards purpose-driven businesses. This research explores global entrepreneurship within the frameworks of conscious business and stakeholder capitalism, emphasizing sustainability, innovation, and the impact of ethical orientation on sustainable development. The study identifies emerging issues to guide future research, covering corporate philanthropy and responsibility, digital platforms, sustainable development, ESG footprint, societal licensing, responsible investment, governance legitimacy, and the overall growth of sustainable business practices. The thematic analysis and future research agenda elucidating how the digital revolution, dynamic capabilities, and coopetition contribute to the development of a conscientious and accountable corporate stance
