Abstract
This study investigated the issues that shape the effectuation and causation of International Entrepreneurial decision making. Studying the responses of entrepreneurial experts’ verses novices, the study demonstrated that decisions making of entrepreneurial experts are usually based on effectual logic rather than predictive logic whereas novices pay more attention to predictive information and follow existing status quo. Using responses from 64 entrepreneurs and MBA students as the sample to ‘think continuously’ while solving real-life decision-making problems, the study showed that managerial expertise and experiences are key in creating a new venture. Equally, the role of big data in venture creation, internationalisation, and business growth is critical in this era of growing competition
