Abstract
This paper investigates how human-AI collaboration contributes to innovation performance in organisational contexts. In light of task-technology fit theory, we develop a conceptual model that highlights the relationship between human-AI collaboration and innovation outcomes (i.e., employee’s innovative behavior and firm innovation performance) and the mediating mechanism underlying these relationships. The paper also presents the methodology to be used in an empirical study to test the proposed model. This paper provides insights into how human-AI collaboration is linked to innovation outcomes and discusses the expected theoretical and practical contributions of the empirical study.
