In the domain of social enterprises, the development of entrepreneurial competencies is critical for securing investments. This study embarks on an exploratory investigation using a case study approach that focuses on four promising firms within this sector. The primary objective is to understand and delineate the processes and strategies that social enterprises can employ to develop these essential competencies. Through this investigation, the research aims to establish a foundational framework to inform academics, policymakers, managers, and prospective social entrepreneurs. The insights derived from this study are of particular relevance and significance for stakeholders, notably within the Saudi Arabian context, as they seek to enhance and direct the evolution of social enterprises.
