Abstract
In recent years, the transition to a circular economy from a linear economic system has received tremendous attention to address the challenges of climate change and environmental issues. However, very little is known about the change agent of circular economy - circular entrepreneurship. This paper addresses the critical question of what are the drivers, barriers, and enablers of circular entrepreneurship. We studied the question in an emerging country. We conducted a study among forty entrepreneurial firms to identify the drivers, enablers, and barriers to circular entrepreneurship in firms. The results are interesting to facilitate the transition process to a circular economy. The findings will interest policymakers, researchers, and related academic disciplines to develop circular entrepreneurship for the transformation to a circular economy.
