Abstract
Muslims make a significant portion of the global tourist sector. However, the perceived image of destinations for this segment remains completely neglected. Furthermore, there is little systematic empirical data to support the impact of Muslim destination image (MDI) on value, satisfaction, and Muslim visiting behavior. As a result, the goal of the current study is to identify the different characteristics of MDI, to analyse the relationships among MDI, value, satisfaction, and Muslim visit behavior, and to develop and test a model that demonstrates how MDI influences the travel business. The hypotheses were examined using structural equation modelling. The findings show that the proposed cognitive, emotional, and Muslim-friendly characteristics may be adequate to satisfy Muslim travellers visiting Muslim-friendly places in both Islamic and non-Islamic countries. Finally, we assessed the substantial contributions to theory and practice made by the article.Muslims make a significant portion of the global tourist sector.
