Abstract
Environmental sustainability represents a key agenda for the logistic sector with green logistics emerging as a pro-environmental response that offers a set of tools and methods for sustainable development (REF). In this context, Green Warehousing (GW) signifies commitment to sustainability within the storage, movement, sorting, processing, and distribution of goods. Although GW has been subject to some academic scrutiny, the managerial perspective on green warehousing remains less explored. The current study addresses this gap by examining the implementation of green warehousing solutions in Poland. Focusing on renewable energy and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) practices, the study offers a managerial perspective on the adoption of green warehousing using primary data from a survey of 162 companies. The findings highlight managerial priorities managers in implementing green logistics, evidencing potential gaps between availability of innovations and their diffusion.
