Abstract
In the contemporary landscape, sustainability has emerged as a pivotal concern, driving initiatives to harmonize environmental stewardship with social and economic progress. This investigation explores the role of responsible leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour towards Environment (OCBE) on sustainability within the IT sector. The study adopted Process Macro Model to examine OCBE's mediating influence on the relationship between responsible leadership and sustainability. The analysis demonstrates that responsible leadership exerts a notable impact on OCBE, which, in turn, positively affects the organization's sustainability in context of social learning theory. This interconnection underscores the synergistic power of combining responsible leadership with OCBE to nurture a culture of sustainability within organizations. The study concludes with the implications for policy makers for adopting sustainable practices and future scope of research in the field of social learning theory in context of sustainability.
