Abstract
Service enterprises and rural entrepreneurs are vital contributors to local communities, offering crucial services to underserved populations, fostering economic variety, and creating job prospects. The European initiative, Community-Led Local Development, is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial endeavors and innovative service delivery in rural locales. Our study delves into the impact of this program. Initially, we probe whether it targets regions lacking adequate service provision. Subsequently, we evaluate its influence on the service industry. Finally, we explore its broader effects on various sectors to guide future policy decisions. Our research underscores the necessity of combining financial aid with investments in infrastructure and capacity development to bolster support for rural service entrepreneurs.
