Abstract
While numerous studies have examined factors influencing SME performance, the role of financial technology (FinTech) has often been overlooked. To address the gap, this study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the impact of FinTech on SMEs performance within the ASEAN context, focusing on its implications for consumers and organizations in terms of accessibility, availability, and adoption. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to analyze and synthesize existing research from peer-reviewed academic journals, identifying 74 relevant studies from the Web of Science and Scopus databases. The findings are presented and discussed, with key insights drawn from the content analysis. The study is concluded by proposing several future research directions.
