Abstract
We present and assess a model that, with the theoretical backing of the resource-based view, examines the relationship between the success of entrepreneurial firms and their use of big data analytics adoption. Current research also examines the role of knowledge management as a mediator between the performance of entrepreneurial firms and the use of big data analytics. Data was collected from respondents who worked for entrepreneurial firms using a specially designed tool. The results demonstrated that the performance of entrepreneurial firms is positively and considerably impacted by the implementation of big data analytics. Furthermore, knowledge management plays a key mediating role in the relationship between big data analytics adoption and the performance of entrepreneurial firms. The results highlight the strategic and practical implications for policymakers and businesses, particularly in emerging economies. This research attempts to contribute fresh perspectives and recommendations to the corpus of literature. Because they will have accurate and pertinent information thanks to knowledge management and big data analytics, entrepreneurs will benefit from these outcomes while making crucial decisions for gaining a competitive edge through enhanced operations. We present and assess a model that, with the theoretical backing of the resource-based view, examines the relationship between the success of entrepreneurial firms and their use of big data analytics adoption.
