Abstract
Menopause is a natural transitional phase experienced by nearly all women in mid to later life. Many women manage their symptoms individually through social and psychological coping strategies, often concealing or dismissing their challenges. However, the impact of these symptoms on women's emotional and physical well-being in the workplace remains underexplored, particularly in developing countries like India. This study investigates the challenges associated with the menopausal transition and its effects on workplace performance. By deepening the understanding of menopausal issues among organisations, society, and policymakers, the study seeks to offer practical recommendations to support women at work better.
