Abstract
Significant scholarly work has focused on both entrepreneurial passion and persistence showing that these are complex phenomena influenced by various social, and contextual factors, along with personal factors. Despite this significant research, specific roles of spiritual attitude, religious support and family cohesion in relation to entrepreneurial passion and persistence remain relatively under-explored. This gap in literature becomes even more visible, when considering analysis of these factors and their interlinkages in emerging economy (societal) contexts. Hence, our (in-process) paper aims to fill these gaps in extant entrepreneurship literature by specifically exploring the interplay of spiritual attitude, religious support, and family cohesion in shaping the relationship between entrepreneurial passion and persistence through a moderated mediation model, in an under-researched setting of an emerging economy (Bangladesh).
