Abstract
Delivering successful digital transformation projects can generate productivity gains and cost reductions. It has been suggested that digital transformation maturity assessment models (DTMAM) can provide suitable roadmaps to help construction companies digitally transform. However, the construction industry is known for being slow to change. Moreover, current DTMAM in the construction industry are often too complex or do not focus on the holistic nature of digital transformation. Therefore, this research proposes a DTMAM developed from an existing methodological framework. The research discusses how the DTMAM is being used at two construction companies undergoing digital transformation projects to measure and ensure successful digital transformation projects.
