Abstract
Micro-foundational practices play a vital role in initiating venture creation. Increasing attention has been given to entrepreneurial practices. However, these mostly overlook the micro-foundation stage practices. The purpose of this research is to delineate the nature of the micro-foundational entrepreneurial practices of everyday entrepreneurs. Using a qualitative research design, the lived experience of five EE’s as they engage in a crowdfunding campaign is explored. The study sheds light on the improvisational micro-foundational practices that sustain the progress of their ventures.
