Abstract
We as humans are prevalent throughout this globe with a cumulative count of eight billion (United Nations, 2022), which is growing with every passing year. Throughout these centuries, human civilisation has evolved, and along with cultured various divides and hierarchies among the human race. Not only divided, but we created hierarchies within each segment through complex stratification; ethnic minority, social class, rural/ tribal/ backward population, gender, queer, and people with disabilities. This study zooms into a particular stratum, the people with disabilities and describes their journey right from entrepreneurial intention to enterprise creation meanwhile exploring the entrepreneurial behaviour and actions among people with disabilities. For understanding this phenomenon, this research experiments the role of capacity building and mentoring & handholding in the journey of enterprise creation among people with disabilities. As longitudinal research, it further tries to understand the challenges faced by them while on the journey of enterprise creation.
