Abstract
Disruptive innovation is the process of introducing new products or services that create a new market and eventually displace the existing market. Examining the dynamics of existing markets, identifying areas of disruption, and estimating the likelihood of the emergence of sustainable alternatives are typical components of this study. The purpose of this study is to give a meta-analysis of literature review publications on innovation and sustainability, providing a succinct and original assessment of major research lines in the field. The second contribution of the study is a critical examination of the substantive growth of the subject and the identification of research gaps that point the way for future study. Using the Web of Science database, pertinent publications are identified. To fulfill the objectives, a meta-analysis methodology is employed. We have attempted to conduct a literature review by presenting descriptive findings and a synopsis of pertinent publications.
