Abstract
The 2016 BAM Conference selected our paper “XXXX” for a Best Developmental Paper prize. This session discusses the further development of that research, specifically focussing on the international development of a now defunct industry. We further explored both historic and potential modern application of the production management techniques we identified with approaches made to various organisations and practitioners. We are submitting this as a developmental paper to illustrate how BAM Conference participation with reviewers' comments and audience interaction was then used. Subsequent versions were presented at other Conferences in Gothenburg, Sweden on Sustainable Operations, at the Academy of Management and published in a practitioner society quarterly as a short discussion of historic methods that they currently use. We have also engaged with current historical organisations and practitioner groups--but without success, yet. The paper has been accepted by the Journal of Management History and should be forthcoming within the next year.
In the interests of Anonymity, the name of the paper and its subject will not be disclosed during the review process but will be provided for the Conference itself.
The authors would prefer to present the paper in person rather than virtually.
