Abstract
To address the sustainability challenge of deforestation and the role played by global commodity supply chains, we consider how supply chain legislation for due diligence can be better understood. Undertaking a systematic literature review into a broad range of due diligence and supply chain sustainability issues, including conflict minerals and anti-modern slavery, we seek transferable lessons and potentials for deeper theorization of the underlying issues. The review to date has established a large dataset of papers, and initial analysis highlights relevant areas to potentially advance theory and practice.
