Abstract
This developmental paper outlines initial findings from literature in stakeholder dynamics in a project context. It achieves this by selecting 15 articles out of 304 included in the systematic review of the literature. Drawing on the evidence from the reviewed articles it found that stakeholder dynamics are contextual and can vary across different stakeholder groups, industries, and even projects within the same industry and that project managers seem to be adopting a tailored approach to stakeholder analysis and management, that considers the specific context of their project, and the needs and expectations of their stakeholders to help build stakeholder relationships that can support achievement of improved project outcomes.
