Abstract
This study reviews the impact of economic policy uncertainty, greenhouse gas emissions, and GDP on sustainable tourism. We identify six areas based on integrative review. Based on inductive analysis these components are combined into a single theoretical framework that describes the interrelationships between the themes and how they together contribute to sustainable tourism. The paper has the potential to make a theoretical contribution by evaluating the relationship between sustainable tourism and economic indicators such as GDP. Overall, it offers insights for the policymakers to adopt economic policies that promote sustainable tourism and reduce uncertainty, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions to maintain the long-term viability of the tourism industry. The study also elucidates future research directions for management scholars.
