Abstract
The advent of new Industry 4.0 (I 4.0) enabler technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, etc. have restructured business sectors across the globe. Global Supply Chain processes in specific have undergone various innovations backed by novel technologies. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, heavy disruptions set sail across global supply chains hindering the demand fulfilment due to improper supply creating shortages of necessary consumer goods within the market. This research will be carried out to understand the contribution of novel technologies within the global supply chains. It seeks to determine the ways in which Industry 4.0 enabler technologies practically affects supply chain resilience. The extant literature on the nexus of Industry 4.0 technologies and supply chain resilience is far limited from an empirical perspective. This systematic literature review paper aims to identify how different Industry 4.0 technologies interact with SCs to leverage resilience. The analysis of the literature highlights two specific themes for future research areas, supply chain collaboration and innovation.
