Abstract
In a study of networked informal businesses, we explore how sociomaterial practices are employed in day-to-day accomplishment of strategy by firms and across the collective. We find that the firms make unconventional use of standard materials and methods that demonstrates combinations of idiosyncratic usage and may be contextually bounded or individually mediated. We also find sociomaterial practices that revile certain artefacts. In doing so we add perspective to prior literature on sociomaterials and strategising.
